A cardiovascular workout using the basic techniques of kickboxing to develop overall endurance, conditioning & stamina. Instructor may use kickboxing bags. Hand wraps are suggested although not necessary.
Specialty and Other
This interval class incorporates kettlebells and heavy bags in a combination of trunk twisting, core developing explosive power. Likely one of the more challenging interval classes you will participate in due to the nature of the movements, you’ll utilize various forms of striking techniques in three minute rounds on the heavy bags then transfer to 2 minutes of challenging Kettlebell exercises. Keeping your heart rate in the yellow and red zones for a majority of the class will be a challenge to both your body and mind while capturing the philosophy of the overload principle to endure physiological adaptations at a faster rate.
